How To Cancel Tech Tree CIV 6?

In Civilization VI (Civ 6), the “tech tree” represents the progression of technological research, allowing players to advance their civilization. If you want to “cancel” or change the technology you are currently researching, follow these steps:

How to Change or Cancel Tech Research:

1. Open the Tech Tree:
   • Click the science beaker icon at the top left of the game screen to open the technology tree. This will show all available technologies, both researched and unresearched.
2. Select a New Technology:
   • From the tech tree, you can click on a different technology to research. Once selected, the new tech will replace the current one, effectively canceling or switching the ongoing research.
3. Research Continues Where Left Off:
   • In Civ 6, progress made toward a technology is not lost when you switch. You can come back later and pick up where you left off.

Unfortunately, there is no option to fully “cancel” and lose progress, as the game saves research progress made on any tech you’ve started.
